| Only a few days until the band I'm in plays at the recording studio. We'll be there for a good long while and we need suggestions on what to play. They don't need to be Travis songs. Anything like Foo Fighters, The Strokes ... maybe even Metallica, we're not sure yet. |

Personally I would rather spend the time getting a small number of songs (or even just one) absolutely perfect. I don't know if you've ever been in a studio but it can go a lot slower than a lot of people imagine. (maybe you already know this) I think the experience of every note, every beat being exactly what you want it to be will be more rewarding than listening to a bunch of songs that make you cringe when you listen to them at home.
I do hope you share what you guys record with us! |

These bands you've suggested... I know a band that you might like, you should have a listen, they are called Unknown Hagana www.myspace.com/unknownhagana
And then I'd cover Mango!! |

I second that. Just spend time getting one or two of your own tunes down. If you got two songs recorded really well in one day you would be doing amazing. |

We're going to be playing one of our own songs anyway but if we have enough time at the studio then we'll be playing the song we wrote that's dedicated to Travis ... if anyone remembers that other thread I posted. |
