Interesting question.
In three months I'll be enjoying my new teaching position in uni (and I'll also be terrified at the idea of giving a lecture in front of the whole linguist community - my supervisor asked me to write paper and present it at a conference he's organizing in about 3 months' time. I'm so terrified I won't even think about what to write!)
In a year, I hope my supervisor can turn my temporary job into a permanent one in uni - otherwise I'll be transferred to Créteil and I don't want that. (For the non French boardies, Créteil is every teacher's nightmare - it's a really tough and violent area where the kids are extremely hard to handle)
And in 5 years, if I manage to finish my doctoral thesis, I should be a senior lecturer in linguistics :)
That was for the professional level. On the personal level, I have no idea where I'll be five years from now! |

In 3 months I'll be at school, working for my exams.
In 1 year, i'll be still at school, but not the same, I'll be learning communication.
In 5 years I hope I'll be a spokesperson or press officer (don't really know the good word..) in England or United States!

At least in the USA a better way of saying press officer would probably be publicist if it's for an individual. |

1 Year: Hopefully on a vacation
5 Years: Probably still in school or finishing up school, but hopefully somewhere WARM.

3 months: throwing my son's 6th birthday party and being harassed by our parents about where we're going for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
1 year: Buying school supplies, melting in the Texas heat, possibly having jaw surgery, and hopefully singing at more gigs
5 years: Buying school supplies for two, in a bigger house, and hopefully either back to being a full-time mom or only having to work part-time. |
