Bizarrely I've never heard that much Ska, bits and bobs here and there but never gotten around to listening to much more.


For The Specials I've always had a soft spot for Ghost Town, and Much too much. Gangsters is a top track as well.

Madness, my favourite changes by the day. You can be sure that Embarrassment, My girl, Our house, Wings of a dove and Michael Caine all rank high. As does something like Jennie (a portrait of) which was a b-side.

I'll get those songs you like now to see what I think of them.

Night Boat To Cairo, also a fave.

There's a band called Big Hand, I love them, they're crazy.

There's just sooo much more out there that I got to listen to.

about a year ago i had this great time at a ska/rocksteady festival at this small venue in l.a....freakin' bummed they're not puttin' it together this year....my friend and i had such a fantastic night dancin' with everyone and just chillin'! love that ska music!
