are there 2 different notes for the 20 £ ? are both of them in use? because i've got some 20 £ with the Edward Elgar picture that I have used last year, now the bank gave me other 20 £ with Adam Smith and they are totally different.
Last year, the bank gave me some 10 £ notes that I couldn't use because arrived in England they said that these 10 £ were not in use anymore.
I don't want to do the same thing this time also... |

Yeah but majority of places do, I always argue well it's got bloody stirling on it grrrr! lol But yeah just stick to ENGLISH notes for less hassle. |

They fucking should, it's all Sterling and all as legal tender as the English money!
I once confused the Bureau de Change at Aberdeen airport by asking to change my scottish money for english notes for a weekend in lahhhhndooonnnn. COuldn't be bothered with the hassle. |
