If anyone on this board likes RHCP (or, if you don't even) then can you please tell me if they're more of a metal band or just plain rock. Cos, all my friends that I hang about with are into lots of metal and they all pretty much love Red Hot Chili Peppers. But, I grew up in a family that's more into the lighter side of rock and we all love Red Hot Chili Peppers as well. It's just to make sure.
P.S. To this day, I still don't know if Chili in Red Hot Chili Peppers is spelt with one L or two Ls. :S |

| They were a punk / funk band , seen em 10 times before Hillel Slovek O D ed . Never the same after that . Dead Kennedy drummer DH Pelegro was in the band at one time , also Cliff Martinez of the Plimsouls . Jack Sherman was the guitar player on the first album, he later played with George Clinton . |
