I had the most amazing day at work today (weird I know). I work as an intern in a vet hospital and am currently in the radiology department. It was just a normal day....radiograph a dog thorax here, a cat limb there, etc. It was actually pretty boring until after lunch when....
A BALD EAGLE came in. It was indescribably exciting. I can't believe I got the oppurtunity to touch a bald eagle...once in a lifetime. Lol sorry if you guys arn't as excited about this as I am, but I just had to share. Wheeeee....I'm on a bald eagle high. |

I didn't see this thread before! But that's pretty cool. I don't think I could have handled it because I like looking at birds from afar but I don't like them near me too much. Hahah!

| Lol. I'm not actually that big of a bird fan either, but the eagle was sedated so it was all good. |

| wow, i had a great day at work, too! except i'm a cashier at a grocery store called wholesome choice (it's pretty hip, compared to say albertsons, ralphs, or other super caucasian places) but yeah, just a bunch of fun customers today, and i'm developing a crush on a fellow cashier hahhhh. don't you love when guys look like rebels but are actually really sweet and intelligent |

| That is pretty incredible. I would be really excited too. I got excited when I saw a bald eagle's nest once (from a distance) so actually seeing one up close would be really neat. |
