Bonjour new and old boardies,
A few of you might remember me...Absy for sure...I see you're still farting around on the board! Hello les Baudettes, Isma, and Kirsty, Nes, Harry Potter, Edel and all those I can't name as this would be too long but who I remember great exchanges with over here. I hope you're all well and having a good time...and a big Hello + kisses to Fran, Dougie, Neil and Andy of course!!
I haven't posted or visited for a while, and certainly not regularly for a good while, but I thought I could share with you a little bit of news : my husband and I are expecting a baby due at the end of february and we're very happy!!! It's not been easy and we/I have been unlucky in the past years including this pregnancy which didn't start well. But it looks fine now and I've passed the dreaded first 3 months, so fingers crossed. For some strange reason Rob and I feel it will be a boy, but we haven't got any info yet...what a great feeling, very strange as well...an invisible boy.
Anyway, hope you don't mind this very personal post which I wanted to share with you boardies and mates. Thanks for the friendship as welle as the supporting gift of your words and music.
Kisses.

Hey, I don't know you as I just showed up here this summer. But congrats on the baby! That's wonderful. I have two myself and so I know pregnancy basically sucks. Screw all the miracle of life crap! YOU feel like junk and it's really hard. : )
It's totally worth it though.
This may surprise you but Harry Potter left us a few months ago. No more posts. : ( |

Thank you Edel! How have you been?
Ella, lovely name!
We're now entering the lovely phase of "quest for a name", but not sure of the sex yet, just a gut feeling. |

Im doing okay. Apart from the Uni driving me insane. Finishing my thesis at the moment so I can get a life.
We had to hear the sex of our first child as couldnt agree on any names and the problems with different pronunciation in Danish and english. Made it easier to limit it, by knowing we were going to have a boy. Not that easy to find a name that both agree on. |

Good luck, very brave of you to be studying and running a family in the same time! I so understand the point about names working in both countries/languages, it's limiting things a lot...but also makes it more challenging and original. Any suggestions welcome! |

Don't go through the trouble of borrowing a book. Théo is nice but has become a bit unavoidable in France amongst young kids. If you think of anything nice, email me on myspace, but you've got more imporant things on your mind at the moment.
We've thought of Rémi, Jarvis, Cole, but it's very early days. I am a bit annoyed cause I forgot a name I liked! |
