i pretty much celebrate my heritage through books and reading about it but i don't think i've gone to any festivals or celebrations...oh i went to a day of the dead thing with my friend two years ago and that was cool...maybe i'll go down to Olvera street this weekend.....

The Cult of Frida is strong in SF, but thats the ex wife of the mayor , she's got Latin roots . What they call and who they include in the " celebration " varies from region to region.

I have a question (probably stupid, but... :p): the month is dedicated only to south american countries or they included Spain?

mmm...i'm not sure. i know yesterday was mexico's independence day but i also saw on the news that some central and south american countries also hold celebrations....ric do you know more??
