the man is here till Tuesday, so I have to keep him company. Even tho he's been out since 4 today. heh So now I'm waiting for him to bring home food and make me warm.
The cold could have shown up on Wednesday next week instead. :-(

I know it's not very organic or anything, but when I had the nastiest cold ever last week, I used painkillers, a nosespray and some tablets that will make it easier to cough up mucus. Not very nice, but it helped. The nosespray is almos the best thing cos it makes you able to breathe properly and thus sleep better.

| whisky and hot water with a bit of sugar and honey and lemon if you have any. Nice and soothing, can't promise it'll take away your cold but at least you feel warm and slightly tipsy afterwards! Get well soon, colds are no fun at all :( |

Hot Toddy,
This does actually work... The mix of heat and alcohol will make you sweat and cleanses your system
Boil a Kettle pour into a tumbler be careful they are prone to breakng if too cold, Mix in a healthy measure of Whiskey, a Couple of teaspoons of Brown Sugar and a couple of cloves.
Sip slowly and once finnished straight to bed under a massive quilt, you will sweat like feck, and probably stink a bit but by morning you'll be fine, except when you realize you have to launder the bed clothes.

I'm trying to think of the Swedish word for thyme.. If I think I know what it is, I don't have it.

We went out shopping on Monday, so I bought painkillers and coughsyryp that tastes like salt licorice - yay! I'm still sick, but I think I'm a bit better.
Thankies! :-)
