If we renamed Monday as 'Saturday' do you think it will still feel like a 'Monday'?

I've a hospital appointment this afternoon which isn't making this Monday any better. Blah.

| I work from home, and today it's been nearly impossible to concentrate on anything, since there's a dog howling loudly somewhere near all the time. I could murder its owners. >:^( |

It happened to me last august - this dog was barking and howling non stop for hours.
Turns out its owner is a vet who claims the "barking noise" is an alarm.

Luckily it wasn't too busy this afternoon, but I always end up seeing a trainee nurse/doctor or one that is totally incompetant.

I'm calling my boss in NYC today and asking for a big raise....any advice?? I wonder if Monday is a good day to do that??
I've never been in the position where I've had to ask for one before (always changed positions and received them that way)....I'm actually kind of nervous. |
