Yes ... I showered. I especially liked the showers in the Alps cos the water's so clean ... that's mountain water for you! (seriously! You could even drink from the taps!)

seriously, i would crack up if i couldn't drink straight from the tap. i get really confused by people who will only drink bottled water when there's perfectly good spring water hooked right up to their taps.
i think some people get far too prissy about tap water these days. i drink from streams if i have to.
maybe i've just been lucky to live in places with nice water.

It's a really nice place ... but we didn't really have much time for exploring. The only bad thing about staying in Lyon was that we couldn't find anywhere to stay for the night, so we ended up in a youth hostel. :(
