I liked it, except for the ending. I love that movie but the american ending sucks big time! Why did they have to do everything so obvious and cloying? |

Btw my sister wants to know if there's a clip on YouTube of the non-American ending? She's the one crazy about all things Jane Austen. |

Oh, it's just the same as the american but without the scene where Elizabeth and Darcy have all that chat about that "What shall you call me?" and the kisses. It ends with Mr Bennet laughing, if my memory's working fine...
I'm looking for a video, but so far I couldn't find it :o/ |

| I didn't know there was an alternative ending until I rented the dvd and one of the features was that scene. I'm happy that when I saw it on the theatre it didn't have it :oP |
