Well basically, things happened with my best friend at the weekend, and i don't know what to do about it. Of course talking to her about it would be the first step, but it's kinda weird. Things weren't weird with her. Really great in fact! I've known her for years, and we've always got on like a house on fire. The thing i'm worried about is losing her- not because of what happened but because of what might happen in future i.e. a messy break-up or something.

Another problem is i'm crazy about her and i'm worried she won't feel the same and it was just a moment.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!

First off, this is SO not surprising to me. You've mentioned her several times and I just had a suspicion that you would be fine if you were more than friends with her.

Your fears are totally understandable. But I say take the risk. Ask her what she thought about the whole thing. She is probably equally crazy about you and having the same confusion.

Just make it clear that you're cool staying just friends and wouldn't want that to be messed up but if she feels like there is something there, you would like to be more than friends.

Fucking grow a pair and just ask her out, your forwardness will put her off balance and you'll probably get the result you want ;-)

No, not sure what made me think that. You just always called her your best friend and named her specifically instead of just "my friend and I blah blah blah". I guess that she always got an extra special shout-out made me wonder. And I just have spidey sense....

She knows me better than that. She knows me better than i do for God's sake! lol

And like someone asked, she's not a boardie no. Some Scottish boardies may have spotted her with me at the gig at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh in April though...

Well you're special to her too I am sure. One incident and one conversation about it will not ruin your friendship.

I gots to go get my kids. Just go talk to her. She lives next to you, right?
