Have you ever listened to an album so many times and then just suddenly you listen to it after a time and hear the most beautiful song and fall in love with it? I did, this morning and it was Travis's Under the Moonlight! Such a lovely song :)
Just thought I'd share that with ya's. |

Hey abso,
Yes well I was in Malta but that was a little white lie. I'm back and ok. Had a wonderful holiday, very relaxing! Was sick there for a while and back on my feet so thought I'd pop in here a bit.
How have you been? Hope your keeping well. Any bizz around these parts? Have I missed anything? :)

I like your current one. You are so pretty! Now it's even funnier that I thought you were a trannie.
I know what you mean about songs. Can't think of an example at the moment but I've had that experience for sure. |

It happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was listening again to the much criticized "You gotta go there to come back" by Stereophonics. I used to play that album a lot when it came out but I used to skip "Getaway" - and the other day, it hit me that it was such a sweet song. I've been playing it over and over again ever since.
The same thing happened with "Climbing the wall" off the very same album. I wasn't a fan of the trumpets in the album version but I literally fell in love with the song when I heard the acoustic version on tour. And it has become one of my all time favourite songs now! |

Hi guys, thanks for the lovely words of welcome back :)
Yeah it just hits me when u listen to an old album and you find those wee treasures all over again. Can't stop playing The Boy With No Name, ha ha my neighbours will be freaking out as it goes on at 6.30am each morning as i'm getting ready for work! lol
I also LOVE My eyes, such a beautiful song and such meaning. To me anyway.
Damn it I just love the whole album, I think it's slowly becoming my fav Travis album to date. :) |

I remember when Good Feeling came out, I had Funny Thing on repeat for days on end.
I am a fan of My Eyes too, I keep getting yapped at because I play it alot or drum along to it with my hands and mouth or have the guitar out playing it.
It's ok though because Sailing Away gets played more than it.
It's just so beautiful. |
