If you haven't seen 65 Days of Static go now!!!
I have just witnessed one of the tightest, most amazing performances of my life, for a band that play such energetic sounds to keep it so together is truly an amazing feat, I personally saw the drummer loose 3 drumsticks and replace them without missing a single beat and the guy plays like Animal from the muppets, I mean it. the guys were so as one it was just unbelievable and at ony €15 a ticket, that's a tenner to you brits, fuck me if you don't see them then you should just give up, Seriously they are that good.
btw I'm not that drunk

*edit*
Yes actually I was that drunk... but I still stand by what I said it was the best gig I've been to in a long long time, I'd even put it up there with Public Enemy's Farewell 3hour set in the Barrowlands. I defy anyone who was at the gig last night to come away from that with... "Yeah they were not bad", There was a whole buzz about the place after the gig. Unfortunately they will never be huge but everyone who was there last night knows they saw something a wee bit special.
They're playing a European tour at the moment...

also somehow I don't reckon I'd have been this impressed with Mr Bird, there was just more blatant passion on show last night. |
