Listening to Abby Road through my boyfriend's awesome new studio speakers. The end of that album is just brilliant how those three songs mesh together. It got me thinking about how cool it would be if Travis did something like that. What do you guys think?

| I totally agree. Although some of their songs do have a flow to them, like Side to Pipe Dreams, Sing to Dear Diary, and FITW to The Cage. But I agree with you. Golden Slumbers alone is probably one of my favorite songs, but you can never really listen to them by themselves. And then at the end they call back to the other songs on the tracks like You never give me your money. Although I do think She Came in Through the Bathroom Window is apart of the ending sequence. |

I love that sequence too. It's such an awesome album...
My favourite tracks are Here Comes The Sun, She Came In Through The Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers and I Want You (She's So Heavy). |

Funny you should bring this up - I was thinking the same thing recently. I got Abbey Road a couple of months back, and it's an amazing album. The medley at the end is really cool, and Golden Slumbers is one of my favourite Beatles songs. I reckon Travis could pull off something similar in one of their albums, for sure. Perhaps an entire album of short melodies strung together. |
