My parents are from Burgundy and "escagots bourguignons" (snails) are de rigueur.
Here's a photo :

A recipe :

If you don't fancy eating the snails, have a try with the dressing and eat it with bread. It's yummy !!!!!

My dad loves escargots, I just could never eat that. I hate snails :oS

Here we usually have veal with tuna sauce, pork loin, salads, swiss rolls filled with ham, cheese, olives, mayonnaise...
I'm going to ask my mom if she wants to make her delicious tiramisu cake...

Honey and lemon juice
Cough medicine with codeine
And if the bronchial inflammation is bad enough, some wee steroids.
It's a recipe for success at your local pharmacy. On the down side, it also includes a trip to the doctor :o(

Had the cracked rib to prove it, sister. I coughed so long and hard, I actually fractured a rib!

When I finally went to the doctor she scolded me for waiting so long. She said she usually gives only one medicine to people with bronchitis, but she gave me everything. I had coughed for 3 months and was over it in 6 days after the meds. My rib, however, took months to heal. Every time I coughed I had to grab my side. I felt like buying a corset.

Jaysus ! Why didn't see you a doctor sooner ?
There isn't much you can do when you crack a rib, right ? You basically have to wait and suffer...
I fractured my coccyx and it took forever to mend.

I really want dominos to do a Xmas pizza. Margharita pizza, with turkey, stuffing, roast potatos, gravy, carrots, peas, brussel sprouts and sausages/bacon as toppings.

I realise this isn't really on topic. But it sounds awesome
