As many of you know (at least the ones who've read my ranting posts) we have a duplex and one side is currently for lease. I went outside yesterday to take a pic of the front of the house for the listing. I was glad the snowglobe was already on because that would look better than a lump in the yard. I didn't notice that God was shining His light right on it until I saw the pic on my camera. It totally cracked me up.

I hear ya Niska. I went to Lawrence Friday night, and I had to stay the night because it started snowing (and my ride was intoxicated, but that's neither here nor there) and I didn't make it home until 4 on Saturday. And now my back hurts, because I slept in a weird place.

God says, "Rent Anne's Place!"

Yes, the snow is lovely here. Unfortunately, someone parked a car next to our house and hasn't moved it since Thursday. The snow plow came by twice and couldn't plow next to our house because of the stupid car! Grrrr! Well, they're going to pay the price for it because they are now snowed in, snowed over and all that good stuff. Church was canceled today (which was supposed to have been the children's Christmas program). I hope school will be canceled tomorrow. The weather service was predicting 4-6 more inches today, but so far it hasn't happened.

I loved snow days!! :)

It may be headed your way Kayte. It has started snowing here west of Pontiac. Not really bad yet...but it's supposed to get worse tonight I think.

Does your snow thingie spit out snow at the top like some sort of deformed water sculpture? I saw one like that about two hours ago. Kinda cheesy lol

It spits snow around inside the globe and the snowmen spin around. There are also lights inside. It is way super duper to the max cheesy. But the kids LOVE it.

And I got it on sale last year. Originally $200 and I got it for $50. Can't beat that.

And yes Ric I have two Live Oak trees in my front yard. They RAWK.

And they drop their leaves in the spring every other year. Weird, eh?

That's global warming for you.

Now, I've never ever seen these huge snow-spitting balls before, and tonight I've seen two of them. How very odd is that.

It's not just my trees- that's just what they do. I blame a lot on global warming but this is just something funny this type of tree does.

I probably saw my first globe thing 2 years ago so I think they are newer trend.
