Got back from North Carolina last night. Long drive (12 hours) but lovely scenery. We left yesterday morning when the fog was still hanging heavy in the Appalachian Mountains. It was so beautiful that it didn't even look real. The kids amused themselves by pointing out every cow we passed and doing all they could to trash the car with chicken nuggets and cookie crumbs and asking to go potty every 2 hours. One of our potty breaks took us to a rural gas station/general store/seed and feed/hunting supply/public restroom. Nothing like one-stop shopping, aye?
Heard "Side" as we got into Toledo, of course it was coming from the Canadian radio station.
Glad to be home and back in our own beds 'cause I'm sicker than a dog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-AZKpCseGg&NR=1
