Yup, that's the rumour. I thought a bloke turned it down, but other people say it's a woman.
I hope Tre wins.

| Yes i did they are a much stronger bunch than last years. Most of them were bullshitters. The interviews should be good this week. I wonder what the odds are for Tre punching one of them or just walking out LOL |

| I burst out laughing last night when Tre said he never apologises for yelling at somebody. They made me angry its their fault LOL |

Rather them than me with these interviews - they're tough!
I hope he punches Katie, not the interviewer :D

| I hope Tre wins and i think Sir Alan likes him and wants him to do well. He doesn't seem to like Katie, no wonder, i've hated her for weeks. She's awful. Kristina might win. Simon has ruined his chances. |

| Tre is all mouth, there's not a lot to him once you scratch away the bullshit and ego, but Alan Sugar seems to like all that crap. I think the strongest person there is Christina. |

That's what I thought before watching the show last night, but I realised that he hasn't had it handed to him on a plate. He's had to work for it, unlike the two who've had public school education and think they're above everyone else because of this.
Tre's incredibly determind, and also reliable, and that is what could win it for him.

That's unfair on the the two you mentioned though. I don't suppose they chose to have everything handed to them, and they might not have wanted a public school education either.
Doesn't make them any less worthy of a job than Tre, the working class 'cheeky chappie' (such a cliché).
From what I've seen, Tre IS a liability, Tre WOULD cost you a contract with an important supplier/exporter/whatever because he can't keep a civil tongue sometimes. Tre is negative when it's not all about him.
He's no different to that Syed fella from last year's competition, all gob and not a lot else. |

You're right I suppose it isn't fair, and I'll be the first to admit that I hold a negative view of the public school education system. But what really did it for me last night was Simon's "I'm better than them" trip when the idiot didn't even know what a weed was. Always seems like the majority of public school educated people expect to get everything and everywhere in life simply because they come from 'good stock' and/or mummy and daddy have paid for their education, which tbh isn't all that great.
Ermm ... I reckon you've guessed by now that I didn't go to public school ...
*edit* apologies if you did .. :s

Tre has an element of likeability, and gift of the gab, which has clearly helped him to this point. However, he is a pain in the arse MCP, and any references he makes to "womens' troubles" and the rest leave me cold.
Simon is a plonker, whose Benny Hill style tv presentation last week was hysterical, and left us in no doubt he's a lightweight.
Katie is the spawn of the devil. She should be fired out of a cannon, or some or other punishment she's wished on other housemates.
Lohit, nice but wet.
Kristina is the strongest, and I suspect she'll win, but she lost some brownie points making that floor dirtier last week.
There you have it, the Apprentice according to Tonie....
And I think that the final will be between the 2 females.

Yes, I went to a grammar school, so I've defended myself against this argument over and over again in the past. I don't consider myself 'better' than anyone else because of the quality of the education I recieved, I'd rather be better than someone else because of what I can do versus them.
But the education issue always crops up in programmes like these, it fuels the debate over who should win and it polarises opinion.
Significant academic achievement (Degree level) versus life experience and nouse.
Truth is, of course, you need both, and that's a hard combination to find/posess! |
