I don't think Boris is as stupid as he likes to let others believe... It could be a strategem to put others at ease or make them think they are dealing with a less formidible opponent.

Still he does come accross as a complete and utter fuckwit

I'm not quite sure what I think, he is certainly canny and obviously knows how to lead a successful election campaign, but I'm not sure whether he knows how to run a city.
Also it's a shame for Londoners when he gets broadcast in other places looking like an idiot.

I do not trust the fucker one bit, in all the candidate debates whenever someone directed a question at him he completely avoids answering it, taking the time to take digs at Livingstone.
He's always in the papers for being a complete titwank, he better fucking prove me wrong.

He's incredibly articulate and intellegent. I'd highly recommend reading his book "Friends, Voters & Countrymen....". It's very well written and his ideas and policies are sometimes brilliant. He's never been afraid to detract from Tory party line, and I like that he's a bit of a Maverick and prone to a booboo or too.

Lets face it, the Mayor isn't really responsible for much, and it's just a popularity contest anyway. I hope he offends most of the rest of Englandshire in his term there.

The Mayor is responsible for crime in London and London Transport amongst other stuff. I don't see it as a popularity contest, I see it as picking someone suitable for a job, and I just don't think he's the right person for it.

But we'll see I suppose, I'm praying that I'm proved wrong coz I love London more than any city in the world (even more than Manchester haha).
