Happy Mother's Day to all the boardie mommies out there! I was greeted this morning by my trio with all kinds of homemade cards and a potted flower in a pot that my daughter painted herself. Very sweet.

I hope everyone else has a lovely day.

Thanks, same to you and other mums!

I got two lovely hand made cards and later I cycled to play minigolf with my hubby and the youngest one. The little miss teenager refused to join us :^(

I'm going to start cooking the meal soon, Chicken wrapped in italian air dried ham and sage in white wine followde by lemon marengue pie. The boys are watching footy (last day of the English season) and the already mentioned teeny is out.

I got flowers, breakfast in bed, and a book. Also a teeny bowl that my son made and painted at school. The best though was the card my 3-year-old daughter picked out. It was a Hello Kitty card and had lots of glitter. Cracked me up.

Happy Mother's Day shout-out to other boardie mommies. I am sorry if I have left someone off.

Bah-Humbug! So the hubby's out to sea, My son is 3 and doesn't get it, I have a horrible sinus infection and can't rest cos my son is, did I mention it, 3! I think I'll celebrate by having fast food for dinner, exciting ;) I guess it isn't all bad, my hubby did order me some fancy chocolate and roses. It just sucks cos I'm all by my lonesome and sick with a very hyper 3 year old. Pity me, pity me ;)

Well, an extra special Happy Mother's Day to you Carla. I can't imagine having to be a mommy 24/7 with no husband to relieve you at the end of the day.

Just wait a few years. It seems that 6-year-olds go overboard (no pun intended) for Mother's Day.

Sorry Carla! Glad your hubby sent you stuff but I'd be having a pity party too.
